Every site eventually needs an about page. This is mine, but I would rather call it what it is: the file.
The short version: business analyst by day, builder by night. Before that, years around pizza ovens, espresso bars, call queues, data rows, IT fires, and the quiet panic that appears when a system breaks and everyone looks at the person who usually fixes things.
No guru arc. No clean origin story. Just a long trail of tickets, notes, late nights, cheap tools, and small systems that made the next day less stupid.
Spike Foundry is where I keep that work.
What belongs here
- The Job — field notes from work: systems, meetings, business analysis, IT lessons, messy handoffs, and the human side of process.
- The Kit — practical things you can use: scripts, templates, checklists, prompts, and small fixes that should not require a subscription.
- The File — origin notes, behind-the-scenes thinking, and the reasons this place exists at all.
Some of the work is about communication friction and small tools, including Vervo, one personal project from the workshop.
Some of it is about ADHD from the inside, not from a productivity brochure.
Some of it is about local-first AI, new-dad life, late-night building, and trying to make useful things after the regular workday has already taken its cut.
And some of it is just practical: one annoying problem, one clear artifact, one less invisible step.
What this is not
I am not a coach.
I am not selling certainty.
I am not here to pretend every problem has a framework and a sunrise behind it.
This site is for the person staring at the message box, the messy downloads folder, the broken process, the half-built app, the meeting notes, the weird little business idea, or the task they keep avoiding because it has too many invisible steps.
The rule
If something helps, it belongs in the kit.
If something teaches, it belongs in the job.
If something explains why this place exists, it belongs in the file.
That is Spike Foundry: a workbench for useful little systems, field notes from the day job and the night build, and a place to keep moving without pretending the process is cleaner than it is.
For now, subscribe if you want the next note, read what is already on the board, and take whatever is useful.
